This is the start of a new column on Travel with Children. First destination: London, specifically with younger children.
Having lived in London for three years with a toddler I am often asked for suggestions on fun family activities for visitors. London is a fantastic city to visit with young children. There are unlimited castles, towers, museums and parks. Just riding on the double-decker buses (be sure to sit upstairs!) or in the black cabs would probably bring hours of pleasure for any young child. But there are so many fun stops to make along the way. In addition to the obvious sites to visit, such as Buckingham Palace, here are some of our favorite activities when we lived as locals.
