The experience

I photograph children and newborns in natural light and on-location. No flash. No indoor studio. I shoot lots of color, with some black and white. I like simple clothing with fun colors and some patterns. No formal “Sunday Best” clothing. For newborns I love to capture them as naturally as possible, curled up in a sleepy pose.

I aim to create photos that are well designed, modern and artistic. I approach my images from a commercial point of view – meaning images have to be 100% perfect before I show them to clients – the composition, expressions, and the technical aspects of the photograph must all be impeccable.

To ensure a complete custom experience I am available for 40 client sessions per year. I tend to book out a month or two in advance, so if you have a certain date in mind, please contact me early. For newborn sessions it is best to book your appointment during your pregnancy. Newborns are at their curled and sleepy best between seven to ten days old. We can pencil in an appointment based on your due date and I can be flexible once the actual birth occurs. I love newborn sessions!
