The session

First, we will have an initial telephone consultation. We’ll discuss what you desire and the reasons for your photography session. We’ll talk about where you are planning on displaying your images. And we’ll also discuss what clothing choices will work best for the images. I’ll provide you with a what-to-wear guide that includes a where-to-shop guide. On the day of the shoot, I am even happy to go through a child’s closet and help you pick out a selection of outfits.

Photo shooting sessions take place at your home or at an outdoor location of your choice. I love working on-location. Some of the most extraordinary pictures come from capturing children outdoors where they are most comfortable and most themselves. I will be sure to shoot around special wall space considerations that we have discussed during the initial consultation.

The best 30 or 35 images, all custom edited, will be presented in a private online slideshow followed by a pre-scheduled ordering appointment.  At the ordering appointment your images will be displayed on a large media screen using special software that makes it easy to narrow your favorites. I will give several visual suggestions of wall displays based on our discussion of your needs at the initial consultation.

Your selected image artwork can be professionally framed, hung and installed in your home. We strive to make the entire process as easy and effortless as possible.
